Project Goals
Project Work

Project Summary
The Hanau Model Schools Partnership has two related goals:
  • to infuse technology throughout the Model Schools so that learning with technology becomes a deeply accepted part of daily school life for all members of the school community; and
  • to support actively the development of exemplary teaching approaches which are integral to Department of Defense Educational Activities (DoDEA)'s Strategic Plan, consistent with national efforts of curriculum reform, and make good use of new technologies.

To accomplish these goals, we are working on the following objectives:
  • Support richer ways of teaching and learning with technology in the classroom
  • Provide Equitable Access to Technology
  • Build Community Participation: Identify and Align Resources
  • Provide Ample Professional Development for Teachers
  • Use research methods to determine best practices, and applicability to other implementation efforts
